General Grocery has become more important to my store in recent months – I now see more people coming in the shop to top up there weekly shop.
Because of this increase in grocery shopping I find that my I am focusing a little more on categories like sweet spreads. My sweet spreads fixture is positioned with breakfast products and I stock Nutella as well as a selection of Jams, Marmalades and Peanut butter. I have found that by having 2 cases of Nutella 400g on shelf I can increase my sales by 70% which has made Nutella the number 1 sweet spread in my store.
